Phillip has a moment to himself.
He hears a familiar moo from a cow outside.
The farmwork is done, he had spaghetti for dinner, and he’s on his second beer-in-bed of the night.
The rain is sudden on the tin roof above him and it just makes his mattress more comfy.
The house is empty.
The rain is hard.
He undoes his belt and finds the right play button.
Deafening thunder and a blinding flash of lightning.
Stillness eventually comes back.
Phillip is still. The movie is still playing.
He hears a somehow lusty moo from a cow outside.
The rain is rock hard.
From the writer of ‘Leopard Print Loincloth’, ‘Sexy Dead Schoolboys’, and ‘Five Stars’, comes a brand new play about lust and satisfaction and forearm muscles.

MEET THE ARTIST -
Kissing Booth
Kissing Booth’s work fixates on the darker regions of the contemporary human experience, while never losing its taste for sweet glittery gayness.
We have a focus on queer Australian texts, the relics of traditional romance, the state of modern masculinity, and the epidemic of heartache.
Producing work since 2013, we strive to bear witness to the amorphous notion of being a queer Australian today.
