VENUE
by patrick mccarthy
After spending a year in silence, June invites an audience into her world. At times charming, at others shimmering with rage, she arrives fully formed but alters at will. A gentle and challenging play about moving through the world and finding a voice that fits who you have become.
Following their critically acclaimed productions Grief and the Lullaby (2015 – 4 x Green Room Award Nominee) and The Sky Is Well Designed (2017 – Highly Commended, Best Performance at Melbourne Fringe), Fabricated Rooms return with their long-awaited third project. Written by Patrick McCarthy, directed by Emily Tomlins, and with an incredible design team including Zoe Rouse and Lisa Mibus, June will be performed by the brilliant and captivating Caroline Lee. This world premiere is not to be missed.
