Girlhood in the Bathroom is a new Australian Musical set entirely in a club bathroom on New Year's Eve. Amidst the chaos of the female bathroom, five 20-something-year-old girls navigate love, friendship, and the truths about the world they live in through passionate scenes and original songs! The show explores a simple but revealing question: why do girls always go to the bathroom together? With a mix of humour and emotional honesty, the show invites audiences to laugh, cry, and recognise themselves in the stories unfolding. This show is going to leave you reminiscing longer than the bathroom line!

MEET THE ARTIST
GIRLHOOD PRODUCTIONS
Girlhood Productions Pty Ltd is a female-owned and operated emerging production company. Founded by and consisting of Imogen Brown, Sarah Eaton, Hannah Manderson, Amaya Pardillo and Alice Quick. The five women completed their Bachelor of Performing Arts from Federation University Arts Academy in 2025, and throughout their final year, they collectively created the new Australian musical, "Girlhood in the Bathroom". Their first show has performed nationally and Internationally at Adelaide, Ballarat, Edinburgh, and now, Melbourne. Through this new work, the girls discovered their love of creating meaningful, young, feminist work, and created Gilhood Poductions to triumph this and be a foundation for future projects to develop together.
