Sea Symphony

30 MAY - 8 JUNE | THEATRE WORKS COURTYARD
Sea Symphony

VENUE

Step inside. Shift your attention to nuances of light and sound, and travel beyond your senses

Celebrate the sea as a unique connector of us and our stories.

A wooden phone box, invites you in. Once inside, take a seat and close the door. Soft light spills around you. A soundscape ebbs and flows.

A mix of audio/video installation, vocal manipulation, and verbatim conversation featuring the award-winning Rawcus ensemble, Sea Symphony celebrates humanity and the natural world. Listen with your eyes, see with your ears: at once local and global, present and remote.

Step inside … and be transported.

Programming Banners2.jpg

Our AT THEATRE WORKS program is for artists, companies or works that align with some but not all of our values as an organisation. We co-present these works with the independent artists and organisations. Works within this programming stream receive marketing support, technical support, free venue use and a generous box office split but largely we give them the keys and get out of their way.
