6 - 10 FEBRUARY | EXPLOSIVES FACTORY
Destroyed

VENUE

by ebony rattle

Evelyn Jones’ best friends keep killing themselves. While struggling to process grief, three weird people she meets at a bus stop tell her that her enemies will get what they deserve. She becomes so obsessed with their prophecy that it completely and utterly consumes her, leaving nothing behind.
A one-act performance of queer femme heartbreak, grief, torture and swathed in blood, based upon the Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Created by experimental artists Ebony Rattle and Sarah-Jayde Tracey.

“Great ideas at play in a free-flowing work that offers up heart and soul.” – The Age (on Winona)
“A surreal world of shifting power and mood... Confronting insecurities and the inability to bond in a way that is jarring and unsettling, yet ultimately reassuring.” – Larchmont Buzz (on Winona)
