The Capstone Plays Part One
On a cold and clear Friday night, the people of Township Thirteen, Range Seven- or otherwise known as Almost, Maine- embark on journeys of love, discovery and hope.
From Ma Dudley’s boarding house, to the Moose Paddy, wide open potato farms, front porches and ice-skating rinks, the citizens of Almost Maine, will learn to love, let go and yearn, all while the twinkling stars and Northern Lights shine above them.
THE CAPSTONE PLAYS bring together emerging theatre artists from across the writing, directing, acting and stage management Bachelor degrees at the Australian College of the Arts in a mash of theatrical performance-making splendour.
Be the one to say “I saw them first” when they descend upon Theatre Works and the Explosives Factory for their graduate shows.

Our AT THEATRE WORKS program is for artists, companies or works that align with some but not all of our values as an organisation. We co-present these works with the independent artists and organisations. Works within this programming stream receive marketing support, technical support, free venue use and a generous box office split but largely we give them the keys and get out of their way.
