The She Writes Collective is Theatre Works' two-year writing program to develop female-identifying and non-binary playwrights.
Participating writers have included a cross section of gender diverse, culturally diverse, emerging and early-career writers of performance across a range of age groups and abilities, at varying stages in their playwriting practices. PRESENTING SHE WRITES is a collection of 15 minute excerpts from their new plays wrapped up in one unmissable night of theatre.

MEET THE ARTIST -
SHE WRITES COLLECTIVE
She Writes is a writing program for emerging and early-career female-identifying and non-binary playwrights. This program offers participating writers support networks and professional development to generate the next wave of unique performance writing. Theatre Works partners with both Victorian College of the Arts dramaturgy graduates and independent dramaturges for this project, to actively collaborate on real-world playwriting, to establish professional relationships whilst developing the new generation of dynamic new work.
