Presenting She Writes

4 - 6 OCTOBER | THEATRE WORKS | FRINGE FESTIVAL
Presenting She Writes

VENUE

The She Writes Collective is Theatre Works' two-year writing program to develop female-identifying and non-binary playwrights.

Participating writers have included a cross section of gender diverse, culturally diverse, emerging and early-career writers of performance across a range of age groups and abilities, at varying stages in their playwriting practices. They’ve all had a burning idea they wanted to write into a play...

PRESENTING SHE WRITES is a collection of 15 minute excerpts from their new plays wrapped up in one unmissable night of theatre.

The new works and writers presenting at this event are:

Storked by Myfanwy Hocking
DRUNK by DS Magid
Hunger by Inna Tsyrlin
Desperately Seeking Daphne by Belinda Kirwan
Plunder by Laura Lethlean
Jitterbug by Brooke Fairley
Me/DEA by Kei Murakami
