Harry and Ralph are a couple other couples envy; a teacher and public servant they’re charming, funny, socially conscious and loving. They’ve just expanded their family with a newborn baby daughter when tragedy strikes.

Set over a single night Harry and Ralph’s relationship is put under a microscope ias they reckon with the schism that has emerged and whether it can ever be repaired. Power dynamics, privilege, trauma, microagressions and grief cast a long shadow over domestic small talk and the shared language of a long term couple as they expose their feelings about themselves as individuals, their relationships and their place as gay men in the 21st century and don’t like what they see.

After a sold out season and enthusiastic audience reception in 2021, this new production of Dad Jeans promises to be an incisive, devastating, funny and hopefully revealing night at the theatre.
