TWiSK emerging reviewer program

The Emerging Theatre Reviewers Program is a new initiative designed to support and mentor the next generation of local arts writers. A partnership between Theatre Works and TWisK, the program provides emerging reviewers with access to performances across the City of Port Phillip, mentorship, and the opportunity to be published and paid for their reviews.
Selection Criteria
Early-career or aspiring arts writers (no previous publication required)
Passionate about live performance and independent theatre
Based in, or with a strong connection to, the City of Port Phillip
Willing to attend performances and meet publishing deadlines
Open to feedback and editorial development

Who should apply?
We’re looking for people with:
A love of theatre and live performance
A way with words – polished or still developing
Curiosity, commitment, and a local connection
No formal experience is necessary — just a keen eye, an open mind, and a desire to tell audiences what makes a show sing.
