- 2 min read
Theatre Works is once again seeking performers for a major new Australian production, directed by renowned theatre director Lyall Brooks. This production will be a centerpiece of our 2026 season and is a key part of Theatre Works’ artistic program.
Please note: Details of this production are currently under embargo.
We are casting the following three roles:
Performer 1: Female-identifying, playing age 40s–50s
Performer 2: Male-identifying, playing age 40s–50s
Performer 3: Female-identifying, playing age late teens
This contemporary work explores the quiet tension and emotional complexity of family life in a regional setting. Told through fragmented perspectives, the piece requires performers with strong emotional range, subtlety, and a collaborative approach to ensemble storytelling.
All roles require strong text work, emotional nuance, and the ability to shift between realism and poetic abstraction.
We strongly encourage applications from artists of all backgrounds, including First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTQIA+, and d/Deaf and disabled artists.
