Theatre Works is seeking performers for a major new production of a modern Australian play by a renowned playwright, directed by acclaimed theatre director Suzanne Chaundy. This production will be a centerpiece of our 2026 season and is a key part of Theatre Works’ artistic program.

We are seeking performers with strong ensemble instincts, sensitivity to emotionally complex material, and a collaborative spirit. This is a contemporary, text-based work featuring layered internal monologue, shared storytelling, and choral movement. Actors with lived experience relating to the themes of the work are warmly encouraged to apply.

This contemporary work explores the quiet tension and emotional complexity of family life in a regional setting. Told through fragmented perspectives, the piece requires performers with strong emotional range, subtlety, and a collaborative approach to ensemble storytelling.
