This new adaptation of WOYZECK, based on the Buchner play, will be adapted by NIDA third-year writing students, performed by the third year acting students, with stagecraft design by NIDA design and technical students. This production will showcase some of Australia’s best new and emerging talent across all stagecraft areas of production.

WOYZECK is one of the most performed and influential plays from Germany and will present young Australian theatre makers who have been undertaking intensive study of contemporary theatre practice at Australia’s premier dramatic institution.
