8 – 19 March 2005
We’ve come from the collective psychology of “I’m O.K. you’re O.K”, and arrived at “you don’t understand what it’s like to be me”.
Here are three plays, PETROLEUM, INCONSOLABLE & NIGHT, which will give the audience a chance to indulge in situations, where they can thank “God” or “The Big Bang” that “that’s not me”, or at least ponder on whether “it’s as hard to ‘be me’ as we thought’, and have a laugh about it as well.
According to science the makeup of everything is over 99% identical.
This means that the less than 1% variance is the entire physical world, as we know it.
How can such a small differences between people create so much drama? One could say our needs vary, but do they? Are we not all driven by fear?
