Theatre Works kicks of its 2012 season with some of the best contemporary queer performances from around the world. Under the new creative leadership of Daniel Clarke (formerly Artistic Director of Adelaide’s Feast Festival of Queer Arts and Culture) Theatre Works has assembled a powerful season of solo performances that are sure to provoke, touch, entertain and inspire Melbourne audiences.

MEN AT WORK will include performances from Melbourne, Dublin and New York; each distinct in their
performance style and each offering different perspectives; these unique voices celebrate the diversity of the queer community and indeed the very different talented male performers who have created these works. Mother/SON written and performed by Jeffrey Solomon (New York) and The Year of Magical Wanking (Dublin) written and performed by Neil Watkins have wowed audiences on the international stage and will make their Australian premiere as part of the MEN AT WORK season. Melbourne actor and creator, Ash Flanders, will present Negative Energy Inc, which sold out at Hares and Hyenas earlier this year. Ash has further developed this hysterical work for the MEN AT WORK season.
