In MATA GELAP – DESCENT FIVE we follow a young couple, Mickey and Elisheba, through four years of their relationship, set against the backdrop of the War on Terror from 9/11 to the date of performance. Morphing puppetry, dance, instillation, movement, circus and music we watch as Mickey and Elisheba battle the seas of their own passions, while in the shadows behind them the forces which shape world history are made manifest.
