5 – 9 October 2010
INSTABILITY STRIP uses tango as a metaphor to explore the sense of yearning, loss and dislocation shadowing our most intimate moments, in life and in performance.
A Blue Straggler is a star that won’t act its age – in INSTABILITY STRIP writer/director/performer Alison promises to bare all (metaphorically speaking), with the help of dramaturg Yoni Prior, designers Bec Etchell and Zoe Stuart, a digital score by composer Natasha Moszenin and the on-stage participation of viola-playing Argentinian tango expert Guillermo Anad.
“A woman is looking for something. If she can only find the right place to stand, she will see it all and understand everything. Or maybe not…”
