The star of international hits "Punch Me in the Stomach" and "Filler-Up" brings her newest show to Melbourne’s Theatre Works in St Kilda for a one-night only, two-show ‘whistle stop’ ... en-route to NZ, LA and back to Toronto, which she now calls home.

Travel with Deb on a rib-tickling journey full of stories and songs as she schleps through the backstreets of the world’s most exotic destinations to find out how she LOST IT IN KIEV!

Deb Filler is a master storyteller who holds audiences in the palm of her hand with her zany tales – tall and true. NZ-born but with deep Aussie roots, Deb is renowned for her rich character portrayals (36 characters in "Punch Me in the Stomach", 27 characters in "Filler Up!" - while baking bread live onstage!). She has performed internationally and all over Australia: from Off Broadway’s New York Theatre Workshop and La Mama where Punch Me began its life, to Berlin, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, Washington, London, NZ, Montreal, Melbourne, (Gas Works. Anthill, National Theatre) Sydney, (Belvoir Street, Ensemble Theatre). Her work has been frequently adapted for screen, won awards and elite nominations. She is shortly to appear in the feature documentary The Last Laugh alongside comedy legends Mel Brooks and Larry David and her upcoming two-hander My German Roots are Showing is set to be read for producers in London.

Back with a brand new swag of stories, we follow her in and around the best restaurants of Paris, a kibbutz in Israel, to Canada, London, New York, then back to Paris again. And we share a never-to-be-forgotten experience in the Ukraine. If life is a colorful learning curve, is there such a thing as ‘enough already’?
