Following the controversial novel by Choderlos de Laclos, Christopher Hampton’s stage adaptation and the cult film Cruel Intentions, acclaimed independent company Little Ones Theatre brings its unique brand of highcamp to this lethal drawing room tragicomedy.
Inspired by Charles Ludlan’s Ridiculous Theatre, Derek Jarman, high-fashion Rococo and the decadent period pieces of Peter Greenaway, this dazzling production was voted one of the best theatre experiences of 2014 by the Herald Sun and has had sellout seasons as part of the Melbourne Theatre Company Neon Festival, Darwin International Arts Festival and Melt Festival, Brisbane.
