The City of Port Phillip has a long history of instigating and sustaining performance projects that support the inclusion of artists with disabilities and mental illness. BLENDER, a new series of short works, provides the opportunity for cross fertilisation between artists with and without disabilities under the Direction of Scott Gooding (Director of A Cup Of tea With Aunty Marge by SPARC Theatre - co-winners of the Inaugural VicHealth Community Cultural Development Award for Crisis & Rhapsody, 2007 Melbourne Fringe) and with Directorial Assistance of Kate Sulan (Artistic Director of Rawcus Inc, Co-Winner - with Restless Dance Theatre - of the Best Performance Award at the 2008 Melbourne Fringe Festival for The Heart of Another is a Dark Forest).
