About

BY NOAH SKAPE

Noah Skape's Human Entertainment is a punk rock operetta about an ADHD outsider struggling to comprehend his place in life and society.

Set somewhere in between reality and 90's free-to-air television, it's a cartoonish nightmare sequence about purpose and belonging, told with comedy-adjacent skits and arena-adjacent rock songs.

A one man show that takes the audience on a journey through not only Skape's imagination, but their own imagination as well. Using found-audio samples and original music to create scenes brought to life even further using mime, costume changes, dance, and song.

Think Tick, Tick Boom! meets the Mighty Boosh. Think Mr Bean meets Broadway musical theatre. Think Jim Carrey meets the Sex Pistols.

Created by award winning performer/songwriter Noah Skape, featuring baby giraffes, sky pianos, Kochie and much more, come and see the lengths we will go to entertain ourselves.

NOAH SKAPE

Noah Skape is an award-winning Perth performer, writer and theatre maker. Alongside his WAM Award-nominated, art-punk music career (including collaborations with Australian punk rock heroes Frenzal Rhomb and UK/Aus comedian Josh Glanc), his screen credits include feature films The Furnace and He Ain't Heavy. Noah has built a reputation for creating bold, left-of-field theatrical work that blends a punk rock personality with physically comedic and commanding performances. On stage he has performed with WA Opera, Perth Symphony Orchestra, won Best Supporting Performer for Little Shop of Horrors, taken home the prestigious Martin Sims Award for "Best New Work" at FRINGE WORLD Festival 2026, and is currently touring with the Australian company of Monty Python's Spamalot as Sir Bedevere.
