Due to the recent Victorian lockdown and today’s announcement (27th July) of continued restrictions for theatres, it is with deep sadness that we must announce the cancellation of the remainder of the season of When the Rain Stops Falling at Theatre Works, including recently added extended dates (28 July – 15 August 2021). The production will instead be postponed until 2022.
We do not make this decision lightly, and it has severe financial ramifications for both Theatre Works and the Iron Lung Theatre team. This is a huge blow for those involved in the production, who have worked tirelessly over the past few months. Artists, and our arts industry, have been impacted enormously in the past 16 months and have found themselves on their knees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are happy to reschedule your ticket allocation when the new production dates have been decided. Given this will not be until sometime next year, alternatively, we encourage you to donate your ticket cost to the creatives involved in the show. Needless to say, you are also welcome to receive a full refund.

To those who filled out an initial ticket transfer form, thank you for support and patience during this time. We truly tried everything within our power to ensure this season went ahead, but unfortunately it is not meant to be this year.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this time.
