In March, Theatre Works and Salty Theatre postponed Voldemort and the Teenage Hogwarts Musical Parody as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19, initially planning for an August – September season.
However, due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19 and the current Stage 4 government restrictions, Voldemort and the Teenage Hogwarts will not be going ahead at Theatre Works in 2020.
We are working closely with Salty Theatre to reprogram this work in 2021, however due to the uncertain nature of the coronavirus and its lasting implications, we are unable to announce new season dates at this time.
Ticket-holders please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/LabZdmRWvRJ1M6xr5
In the form above, you will have the option of receiving a full refund or donating the full cost of your ticket to the Voldemort artists. This act of generosity will help the artists get through this unprecedented time and ensure they will be able to continue to create and present this work safely in the future.
This generosity will also go a long way in assisting the artists to realise their future vision in full, as the limitations of social distancing will not only impact our audience capacity, but our financial capacity to produce this work as well.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during these difficult and complex times.
If you are able and want to further help support our artists and arts workers that are the lifeblood of our theatre, please consider donating what you can.
