Betty Postponed Until 2022

Due to the recent Victorian Government announcements regarding a lockdown extension and further restrictions, it is with deep sadness that we must announce the postponement of our impending season of Betty by Jules Allen at Theatre Works (9-19 June 2021).

This is a huge blow for those involved in the production, who have worked tirelessly in the past few months. Artists, and our arts industry, have been impacted enormously in the past 12 months and finds themselves on their knees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To ticket holders, Theatre Works are happy to reschedule your allocation when the new production dates have been decided. Given this will not be until sometime next year, alternatively, Theatre Works encourages ticket holders to donate their ticket cost to the creatives involved in the show. Needless to say, Ticketholders are also welcome to receive a full refund.

We ask for your patience during this time of uncertainty as we navigate the overwhelming number of enquiries.

“We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding and send our deepest of thanks to all of you who have been behind us thus far. Thank you!” – Jules Allen and the ‘Betty’ Team
