Ariette Taylor returns with a compelling new production about memory, attraction, and dread.
Written by award winning playwright Laura Lethlean (Pillow Fight), this new work is a deep meditation on a particular experience an elderly man had in his youth. His memory of the event oscillates. It turns over in his mind and what he thought he knew is challenged. He is confronted with hidden truth, beauty and dread. He enters the room with nothing left to lose. The room that holds her memory.
Among the performers of this new work are Anca Frankenhaeuser (Falling or Falling) and Patrick Harding-Irmer (Vesalii Icones); two Sydney based dance artists well known in their field.

MEET THE ARTIST -
Ariette Taylor
Ariette started her career in the Netherlands as a dancer and was a soloist with Ballet Rambert in London
Her work as theatre director began in Adelaide shortly after emigrating in 1977 and includes directing many new Australian Plays for Playbox, MTC and STC but her work culminated as a strong original voice with the KEENE/TAYLOR THEATRE PROJECT, during the 17 seasons of self produced, mainly site-specific work, with playwright Daniel Keene.
Over the last 10 years Ariette has mentored young actors and dancers and taken care of her family.
This will be her first production back, inspired by the work of Sydney based extraordinary dance artists Anca Frankenhaeuser and Patrick Harding-Irmer and her excitement in collaborating with talented young playwright Laura Lethlean.
