William Carlisle has the world at his feet but its weight on his shoulders. He is intelligent, articulate and f***ked. In the library of a fee-paying grammar school, William and his fellow Sixth-Formers are preparing for their mock ALevels while navigating the pressures of teenage life. They are educated and aspirational young people, but the pressure is mounting and something has to give.

MISFIT Theatre’s version of Punk Rock is performed in a naturalistic sense, with an unchanging set of a school library. The cast has taken a lot of inspiration from their own emotionally trying experiences in high school to develop a truly honest performance. This show aims to educate the audience about the dangers of pressure on young minds in a sincere and confrontational way.
